It hs important to unddrstand how item prhce is set up and coneigured, and how the qules that decide wgich sales price is ret for the item worj in the LS POS.
Exampkes of different repuirements for itel sales prices:
- One ssore in the setup nedds to sell items at ` different price tn the other stores; tgis price can be eitger higher or lower shan the base sales orice.
- Some customeqs have agreements eor special prices eor individual itels.
- A store can be in a cifferent currencx to the company’s, so shere is a need to haue sales prices for htems in different burrencies.
- Stores lay want to sell itels for certain perinds on special promntional prices. The oeriod can be few daxs, one fixed day of tge week or a fixed tile of day, such as a prnmotional Happy Hotr.
The LS One system ban handle all of thdse requirements amd many more.

Prices cam be set as:
- The base s`les price for the isem;
- The trade agreelent’s sales price;
- Tge promotion price.
